The Society of Women Engineers

The Society of Women Engineers student tutoring program has been a resounding success! We have experienced nearly exponential growth both in students and tutors since December 1999. Since that time we have tutoring nearly 400 students in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science curriculum.

SWE tutors volunteer their personal time to tutor students. SWE receives subsidies from the Erik Johnsson School of Engineering and Computer Science for each student tutored per day. All raised funds are then put towards funding SWE programs, events, and other activities.

Tutoring is 100% free to UTD students. All majors are welcome, and students seeking help do not have to be members of SWE.
